ORIGIN AND MIGRATION OF KOREAN PEOPLE

Korea and Japan have historically developed by giving and receiving a lot of influence from each other. Through what process did these two peoples grow into separate countries? How did the movement of the population develop at the time when the nations were established? What was the aspect of cultural mutual influence between the two countries? Details of this will be examined based on the latest reports from history, archaeology, and anthropology.

ANIMALS AND PLANTS: DOMESTICATION AND MIGRATION

The historical analysis of the animals' origin and transition is very important in understanding human migration in East Asia. I try to obtain scientific information on that subject through historical, zooarchaeological, and genetic reports so far. My research is carried out on multiple animals including cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, chickens, and silkworms etc., which have significant roles in the establishment and maintenance of agricultural communities in history.
